Greetings! I’m Gillian and my cosy and sacred little space here in downtown Oshawa, The SPA on King (building built in 1923), has been serving you since November 2005. For the past three years I have been living a vegan lifestyle, and as a result I strive to provide my clients with cruelty free and vegan options wherever possible. The aim is to be a 100% vegan spa in the next year. I am eco minded and do everything possible to protect Mother Earth. I provide individualized care using Canadian made products wherever possible, aimed at assisting you to relieve stress, digging in to the bottom of the symptoms that are presenting themselves esthetically and heal from within. I believe in natural and organic skin care. I know the best route to healthy skin is through meditation, hydration, sleep, nutrition and a good organic skin care routine. You won’t find me recommending anything that isn’t from Mother Nature herself. I’ll make us a tea, and we’ll connect through your treatments while you are relaxing and rejuvenating.

I am a certified Axiatonal Alignment Therapist, and incorporate my energy work into my spa treatments. If you wish to have a single session of the AAT, you can inquire with me about that during your treatment.

The 2012 Canadian winners were selected from a pool of more than 500 potential nominations. Nominations for the spAWARDS are accepted from May through December, with winners announced in February and March.
